    mom: honey, shall we go shopping this afternoon?

    mama：寶貝，我們下午去購物好嗎？

    helen: that's great. mom, look at my shoes. they're worn out. i need a new pair.

    海倫：太棒了。mama，看我的鞋，它們都穿破了。我需要一雙新的。

    mom: ok, what else?

    mama：好的，還要別的嗎？

    helen: we don't have any milk now. i think we should buy some milk.

    海倫：我們沒牛奶了。我想應該再買點牛奶。

    mom: i know that. it's in the shopping list.

    helen: would you get some of that new cereal advertised on tv?

    海倫：買一些電視廣告上的那種新麥片吧？

    mom: whie?

    helen: you know…the oh the funny vitamin baby on the bag.

    海倫：嗯……就是包裝上帶有可愛的維生素寶寶的那種。

    mom: oh, you mean “kikies”?

    mama：哦，你說的是kikies？

    helen: yeah. that's the one.

    海倫：對，就是那種。

    mom: well, i got it. let's go to the supermarket.

    mama：好，我記下了。那我們去超市吧。

    bob wants to buy some daily supplies and clothes after work, but he doesn't know where to buy.

    鮑勃想在下班后買一些日用品和衣服，但他不知道去哪買。

    bob: is there any shopping malls nearby,joy?

    鮑勃：這附近有什么購物中心嗎，喬伊？

    joy: well, this is the tral area of the city.we are in the residential area now. there is a grocery store just 50 meters ahead. many stores are in the ercial area.

    喬伊：這一帶是市中心地區。我們是在住宅區。前方50米就有一個食品雜貨店。很多商店是在商業區。

    bob: i o buy some daily supplies and some clothes.

    鮑勃：我想買一些日常用品和衣服。

    joy: well, the business square on the left side of the bank has more than 100 stores in it, including four major department stores.

    喬伊：銀行左邊的商業廣場里有100多家商鋪。包括四家主要的百貨商店。

    bob: are there small shops near here as well?

    鮑勃：這附近也有小商店嗎？

    joy: yes, on 5th street, he movie theater there are many specialty shops,including clothing boutiques.

    喬伊：是的，在第五大街，電影院附近有很多專賣店，其中還有些精品店。

    bob: well, that sounds good.

    鮑勃：哦，聽起來挺好的。

    joy: yes, it's really a nice place.
