    paying a visit

    這句話多用于初到一個(gè)自己不熟悉的地方，想結(jié)識(shí)一些朋友的禮貌用語，如搬家和初入公司。

    很高興認(rèn)識(shí)你，我終于有新鄰居了。

    語法提要

    助動(dòng)詞do放在動(dòng)詞前表示強(qiáng)調(diào)，如：do remember to turn off the light. 這里的do可譯為“務(wù)必，一定”；原句中的do則表達(dá)了房主對(duì)客人熱情的歡迎，可譯為“非常，十分”。

    語法提要

    當(dāng)句子前一部分出現(xiàn)過的名詞或名詞短語在后面再一次出現(xiàn)時(shí)，要用指示代詞it代替，原句中的it指代的是上半句中的名詞短語the decoration of your house。

    注意事項(xiàng)
